DivorceCare at Chisholm Baptist Church

Thursdays at 7:00 pm

We are pleased to be continuing our DivorceCare ministry at Chisholm Baptist Church. DivorceCare is a weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. Some of the weekly seminar topics include: “The Road to Healing/Finding Help,” “Facing My Anger,” “Facing Loneliness,” “KidCare,” and “Forgiveness.” You are welcome to begin attending the DivorceCare group on any week. Find help, discover hope, and experience healing with others who are walking, or have walked this same path – you don’t have to go through it alone. Dinner & Annual Meeting
Sunday, February 7th at noon

Join us in the Fellowship Center following the second morning worship service for a potluck and our Annual Meeting.  A - K please bring a salad and a dessert, L-Z please bring a hot dish.  All church members and regular attenders are encouraged to attend and participate.

CYF Fundraiser "Some Enchanted Evening"
Sunday, February 14 at 5:00 pm

A formal affair featuring special dinner music and performances by many of our own talented artists.  Tickets are on sale in the foyer for $6.00 each ~ donations will go toward the Spring Retreat.  You won't want to miss it, be sure to invite your friends.

"Focus on Marriage" Live Simulcast Conference
Saturday, February 27 ~ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

This life changing marriage conference will help you tackle one of life's biggest challenges - empowering you and your spouse to stay faithful, committed and encouraged in your marriage, no matter what stage of life you are in.  The simulcast features many nationally known speakers such as, Gary Thomas "Sacred Marriage", Francis Chan "Crazy Love", Gary Chapman "The Five Love Languages", and Drs Les and Leslie Parrott of Real Relationships Ministry.  Some topics covered will be, commitment, building a history together, love languages, and forgiveness.  The cost is $35 per couple or $18 per individual - lunch is included and financial help is always available.  For more information or to register contact the church office, or purchase your tickets on Sunday mornings in the foyer.
